Brrrrrrr...
Yes I guess it is that time of year again, your know, when it gets cold ;-) Something about winter...
As you know the church heating does not seem much up to the job at the moment and Thursday nights is turning into a "fridge night" which is not so cool! We are trying to come up with a plan to keep us warm so we may well meet here in Rendlesham somewhere rather than going to Bromeswell... So listen out for the text messages...

Brrrrrrr... Again...
Did anyone mention that it was cold out there?
Well, it's not much warmer inside the church either so when you come to teens club please make sure that you do have something warm! Yes we have heaters etc but they are not always that effective in weather like this so warm clothes is a MUST! The minibus may be warm(ish) if I take it for a 15minute drive before picking anyone up - but we cannot guarantee that ;-)

Xtreme Christmas Meal
It must be getting close to Christmas time again - someone mentioned the goose was fat :-)
So without any further delay - December 13th - IT'S CHRISTMAS!!!!! Well, almost Christmas, but it is time for a good nosh-up and a bit more fun, Xtreme Teens style.
DON'T FORGET! Or I will have to have an awful lot of food to eat up!

Change-over
Yes I know it was supposed to be activities night this week - but this is the season of change :-P
Pastor and Mrs T are going to celebrate thanksgiving with some friends next Thursday, so we will revert back to "bring your questions" night this week (we missed it last week because just about everyone was busy!) and then we will go an activity next week which should be something like bowling or at least going somewhere else for the evening! After all, why should the Americans have all the fun :-)
Seriously - bring your questions fully loaded for tomorrow night and we will do our best to answer them on the spot!

Working For God
I know that many of you will be coming up to exams and getting jobs etc soon, but don't let that ever take you away from being different! Just because the world wants you to act the fool like it is, does not mean that you have to. You can be different. You can stand out. You can stand up for what you believe. Just because you may not be able to make it to youth club does not mean that you are "normal". We, as Christians, are certainly not "normal" because we want to stand out and be counted for God.
You can be a Christian and still live in this world. You can be a Christian and still have friends. You can be a Christian... just don't try to be normal by this worlds standards because being normal seems to be a very very low state to be in nowadays!
You know where we are when you need encouragement. You know that we are different to the rest of the world and we will continue to offer our help and support no matter when you are because we want you to know just how much God does care for you!

Open(ish) Evening(ish)
As I said a while back - we are hosting an open evening on 27th where we are inviting some potential victims, I mean members, who can come along to see what Xtreme Teens is all about. Hopefully this will encourage more people to come along so that we can at least fill up the minibus; after all what use is a minibus unless it is full?
So all people who have just started in high school but who have not turned 12 yet are invited along to sample a manic session...
It does not mean that we are relaxing the rules about joining because the rule still stands that you can join teens during the year that you go up to high school and will turn 12. I.e. if you turn 12 before Christmas then you are allowed to come to XT during the first term of school. If you turn 12 after the new year then you will have to wait until the first meeting after Christmas before you can come along. This has been a long-standing rule and we will stick by it so don't come along and expect us to change. We have always been honest and up front and we expect you to be honest as well because that is our philosophy at Xtreme Teens!
7:00pm to 9:00pm... and it's normally a 'school night' i.e. it is Thursdays so make sure your parents/guardians know exactly where you are!
